Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on either
1) Farouk Chi Hair Straightener or
2) FHI Hair Straightener
Both are pretty pricey and I want to make sure I choose the right one to buy!
Also -- if you have any suggestions on heat styling products (products that protect your hair from heat), please share!
Thank you! |

Hi,
I have the Chi straightener. I have thin hair but a lot. I like to wear my hair straight but full. The chi straightener works very well, but does not allow me to curl the bottom of my hair under, which I like. It makes it very straight.
Let me know if you have anymore questions. |

My friend has a Farouk Chi, and she is able to flip her hair under with it pretty easily. I used it once, and was able to flip my hair out easily, and best of all it stayed flipped out. We both have thick, wavy to curly hair (she is vietnamese i am white), and the hair became straight, smooth, and shiny, but still retained its fullness. |

I have a different brand of straightener - INISIS Ceramix - works great. But i use a KMS Flat Out Hot Pressed Spray to protect it from the heat. |

I have the Chi, and love it. It came with a big bundle of BioSilk products, which I hated, I have been using a Kerastase styling product with it. However, I am only straightening my hair occaisionally as the "sizzle" freaks me out! |
