Yikes, I just had a suppressed memory: When I was in my twenties I had electrolysis on my armpits -- I think I went twice because it was so painful (didn't know about the aspirin trick). It was in a tiny, rather seedy office across the street from Macy's in NYC. All the other clients were drag queens. |
