I used ISC's active serum for a while. I thought it was ok, but not worth the hefty price tag. What are some alternatives?
My acne has been getting worse lately and I have a lot of discolorations from old scars. Active serum did a decent job of cell turnover. I have been using Epidermx II but it isn't doing a thing for my discoloration or acne marks. I have Paula's Choice 2% BHA but it isn't helping with the cell turnover as effectively as the Active Serum and it dries my skin.
If I can't find an alternative to ISC I might just reorder. But it's so overpriced Any suggestions? |

I think dianayvonne/professional solutions do an acid type serum which has aha and bha. It doesn't have the arbutin or kojic acid, but you can buy that as a separate serum, htough personally I really think they are a bit dodgy.
Not surprised you want a cheaper alternative. For what is basically an acid exfoliant with a couple of suspect skin lightners that stuff is waaaaay overpriced! |

| JM's bioclear is getting excellent reviews and is cheaper than ISC. |

| I've been using Cellular Skin Rx Age-Limit Advanced Refinishing Serum and it's been working well. I've never tried IS Clinical Active Serum though so I can't compare. |
