I've tried several gel liners and I really like this one the best. It's not as creamey as the Clinique I was previously using, but I like that better as it's easier to work with (and applying gel liner does take some practice), less mess with this than the creamier ones. I had used Black Honey & Dark Brown from Clinique and also a brown from Bobbi Brown that I can't remember the name of, but they were just too harsh and dark. I'm Italian, have dark hair, but am very pale complexion, so I need soft colors, and the Earthen color is just perfect, looks natural, lasts ALL Day, doesn't smear and the price is better than the other more popular gel liners. I recommend this and I do notice that Paula has expanded her color selection for the gel liners too. |

Do you use an eye cream on your lids??? I have found that all liquids either peel off or just disappear off my lids unless they are free of everything. I haven't used gel before, but I am assuming they are similar to liquid. |

Luvyourskin, I use either Olay Regenerist Serum Frag Free (lots of silicones in this, probably acts much like a primer, the regular one not eye serum) or an eye gel (i.e. Neova eye which is not heavily emollient) on lid, and I always run a Q-tip over the area where I'm going to use liner FIRST. I tried liquid liners a long time ago, and I don't find the gel liners to be too similar, gel easier to control and stay put, in my opionion, but gel/cream does take practice! |
