Canadian Girl.....Thanks for the tip about the Nars Sayonara. I love Nars and if there is a good lip stain that would go well with my pale skin I'll try it! |

I saw your tip, Canadian Girl, and I instantly went to the NARS website to check this out. But it was under construction! I went to Sephora and browsed all NARS lip products, but I didn't see any stains.
Not sure if this is Sephora's fault or not, but do you mind describing your stain? I.e. is it like a lipstick but it leaves behind a tint, or is it a totally liquid true "stain" like all the VL/Benetint ones, and Sephora is just messing with me?
Thanks a lot -- gotta love new products to explore! |

Victorias Secret website is doing a clearance on the Vincent Longo lip stains ... at $6.99 !! I just got the Baby Boo
There’s only a few colours left and I imagine they'll go fast at this price.
They also have the VL lipstain lipsticks at $8.99, but no colours left suitable for me.
Look under Clearance, in the Beauty section of Victorias Secret site. |

Does anyone know what is UP with VL? He is no longer at Ulta, no longer at Bath and Body Works, and now will be no longer at VS. I don't want to hijack the thread, but... what's going on? |

I usually use my finger tips to give it a stained look. I use that cream blush stick by jane iredale. You can put it on your lips as well. I find that it is very soft on the lips. Plus, it doesn't leave an after taste. In addition, it gives your lips a natural look, like you aren't wearing any colour at all. I also like the makeup from Afterglow cosmetics. Same thing, I use my finger tips. |

The Sephora lip stain have added some new colors. I purchased the Pinot when it came out, and may acquire the Rose (did they mean Rosé?) eventually. But they did raise the price.
I also really want to try the new stain from The Balm, For Keeps. I will post if I do wind up acquiring this! |

Don't know if this was mentioned earlier, but I just bought Cover Girl Outlast in a pretty Mauve colour (405). If I use over my whole mouth it is too bright but if I use it just on my lower lip then quickly smudge it over the top, it looks natural, and is exactly the colour my lips are after a good kiss. It really does last a long time too. If I want I can just add gloss after it dries, and it looks really pretty. Thinking about getting another colour. |
