Okay let me bore you a bit with my story on cleansers. Basically, for years any cleanser I tried would give me a rash/bumps/ clogged pores etc. Unlike most people, a cleanser could ruin my complexion if it had any kind of moisturiser, exfoliating beads, fragrance etc. So for years I used a plain camomile soap I found in a herbal store in (yes, believe it) the Hondos center in Athens, Greece. Talk about having to stock up but they cost me 2 euro each! Then I discovered Decleor cleansing gel and it was the only good, gentle cleanser I could use - I have been using it for 6 years or so. I thought I could never give it up. That is until I tried this cleanser from SKII. The cleanser is a cream base in a tube. Yes, practical packaging from SKII!!! I never thought my skin would like a cream cleanser but this foams up just like a gel and leaves the skin, well bright and refreshed with no tightness. My skin just looks like a veil is lifted and it washes away everything without any kind of film. Also, for those who hate the scent of SKII products, this has extracts of wild rose so it has a light sophisticated rose scent. Most fab of all this cleanser has mattifying properties. After I use it and apply the SKII airtouch foundation, it stays matte! I have been using this for the past month and it is indeed a keeper!!
I am trying SKII signs uplifter at the moment after fab results with the signs aging mask (puffy chin vanishes like abracadabra and like a spa facial after effect) and will update on results. The only products I do not like in this range are the day moisturisers. Will update.

the cream cleanser sounds good. i tried sk2's cleansing oil a few years ago, it was good in the beginning, but then my skin got a little sensitive to it so i stopped using it. i'm not sure why that happened. |

why don't you try SKII facial treatment essence, it is the most popular thing from this brand with the amazing Pitera. |

dsq,
I am a bit wary of cleansing oils so I have not tried that in any brand. I have heard that some people report sensitivity with SKII but this cream cleanser has been working very well in ticking all the boxes for a cleanser. I find that if you stick to simple ingredients in your routine then SKII seems to work better. I know of others who use heavy chemical peels or retina A etc and find that they get sensitivity. I use SKII, Decleor, Dermalogica Microfoliant and PSF 02 serum. Nothing particularly harsh. I do follow up with the FT Essence after cleansing but it might be too much for your skin. The cleanser has a small amount of pitera anyway (it is the last ingredient on this list). Do try it if you can. I think it is an excellent product. |

HR carries this brand. But be careful for trying facial treatment essence, many persons are sensitive to it. |
