Can't remember where I saw it. Maybe at MakeupAlley but there were some posts and people were raving about this concealer. I use the Chanel Quick Cover ($35 or so) but wonder about the Cle de Peau as well. Wonder if you can find it on ebay? |

I haven't tried it yet myself but I do remember someone talking about it (and making me feel like I want to buy it ). Do a search and see if you can find the post in question.
For all it's worth, I'm quite happy with my Jane Iredale Circle Delete and Benefit IT stick at the moment

Yes it is worth it, i can assure you that it will definitely be one of the BEST BEST concealers you will ever use! I've tried almost everything out there, bobbi brown, laura mercier, shsheido, lancome, makeup forever.. and this one is the best.i have used it for over 1 year and it lasts a long time, and it covers dark circle FLAWLESSLY! |

I purchased the Laura Mercier as it came highly recommended by In Style, and i must say I love it! It stays put all day. And I have never used concealer with sucess before b/c I felt it made my acne worse - this one does not. I highly recommend it. |

I still have mine. It lasts forever and is great to carry around for touch ups. I used it everyday to cover hyperpigmentation and it stayed on all day and through workouts. I've also started using mineral foundations (right now, one by Wei East) because some have some treatment qualities as well as coverage and love those as well. Will always carry around the cle de peau one in my purse though.
I think it's worth the $65. I was going to get it on eBay but ended up going to Neiman Marcus and having the salesperson find the right shade for me. She also gave me tons of samples trying to get me hooked on their le creme ($400!) so it was fun. |

I think it's totally worth it - the best I have ever tried. Use sparingly, it's very smooth and awesome coverage. It's more like corrector than concealer. |

I think Cle de peau concealer is the best, the price sure is high but he last so long, this concealer look so natural don't forget to put cream eyes before and he will look awesome. |

I agree with Janet - CdP is more like a corrector than concealer. It really covers! My big problem area is under my eyes - veins showing through my skin and slight bags - and CdP works well there. But I find that I have to have a lot of moisturizer on first to avoid caking, and then pat it on very sparingly and slowly, sort of melting it into my skin. I don't use CdP on a daily basis but keep it in my concealer arsenal.
CdP is great everywhere - in the summer, when I hate to wear hose, I use it on my legs. I have a few veiny areas that bother me, so I moisturize them well first, then brush on CdP, and pat/melt it into those spots. Sometimes I lightly powder over it to set it. Works really well for me!
I've had my tube for a couple years and I think it will last forever! |

It is totally worth it! The texture of this concealer is perfect for my oily to sometimes dry skin. I've used this for years and I find that one tube last one year. |

Okay, now you ladies have convinced me... I keep reading about this product in magazines - and thought at first it was just a bunch of beauty editors waxing poetic about something that they got for free. (In my next life I want to be a beauty editor and get to revel in boxes and boxes of free product! LOL)
But, hearing "real people" say such great things... Okay, next time I'm at a store that carries the Cle de Peau line... (Needless Markup - and Saks both carry it, right?) |

Clea de Peau is a premium line of Shiseido, the largest cosmetics company in Japan. It is hot in Asia. Personally speaking, I think the target of the brand is for elder ladies. |

I prefer Armani concealer to CdP. It does not last very long ( well, it's just 30+ $) but it has a much creamier texture and covers better. With CdP I always have to put a moistorizing cream before. |

I was all ready to hate Clé de Peau since it's SO expensive and seemed ridiculously over-hyped. Plus, any line that only has three or four shades irritates me on principle, since concealer should match EXACTLY. But I tried a sample from Nordstrom, and you can bet I was surprised when I loved the stuff! So much so that I wrote a sheepish blog post all about how great it is.
It kind of melts into your skin so the color blends freakishly well while still giving good coverage. I don't know how they do it. And most concealers highlight the flaky dry skin I sometimes get around my acne spots due to Retin-A use, but Clé de Peau actually seemed to help conceal it. I'm totally getting some, but first I might put it on my Christmas wish list first and see if anyone beats me to it. |

yes, it has a great coverage and it melts into the skin - but you have to pat it in long time...
as for the price: it seems to last a long time, so after all not too expensive... |

It is worth it on a splurge. The tube lasts a loooong time, so you do get your money's worth. I haven't had this in awhile, your post is making me crave it all over again.
Another concealer I use when I can't bring myself to spend the $$ is Biotherm Forget It.
It has almost come to the point where I have two sets of makeup: one "spendy" set for special occasions, and one cheaper set for everyday use.
Oh, and the third set for travelling, hehe. |

I am not that impressed with it - I try to use it for the under-eye area and no matter what I do it does settle in the small wrinkles (like when you smile), but does cover quit well. |

I used to use it but found it pretty waxy and yes it did last a long time so price-wise I spose it's justified. But try it side by side with TheBalm TimeBalm which is muchmuch less expensive. IMO they are very similar in coverage but TimeBalm is less apt to settle into the tiny lines. It is more emollient too, so you don't have to moisturize so much. Using moisturizer under concealer tends to make the concealer slide off for me, no matter how long I wait.
I understand the CdP concealer formulation has been changed, so they may have improved it. The one I used was around 5 years ago & I wouldn't purchase that one again. |

I don't know about the concealer but I've ever tried a sample of tient foundation. I was impressed in it. It makes my skin look natural and don't clog my pore at all. The price is around 10,000 Yen. |

I'm using the sample of this, absolute loving it but since it's a sample, the color is a bit too dark for my liking.
Anyhow those who wants to try should ask for the sample, it lasts over a month!!! |
