I was lemming this on Sephora for a bit. It just looked like the perfect blush for summer. I held off, though, and one day, there it was on EDS (they had beach blushes but this color was new).
It comes in a nifty little aluminum-like tin. The colors are sort of shimmery, but not too shimmery. For me, it's perfect for my pale skin-- it really gives me a summery glow! And since there's four different colors in the tin, I can modify the color I want. Swept all together I get a very natural peachy pink color with a little bronzey-ness to it. I can make it more pink if I want, or more bronze if I want. Or more peach for that matter.
The powder itself is top notch. Finely milled and buildable (the color is sheer).
There's other shades of beach blush, but I think this one would work for most skin tones, except the dark complected.
So, I have set aside my Nars Orgasm for the summer!
(On a side note, the wonderful people at EDS sent me two surprise gifts with my beach blush, a Too Faced shadow in steel magnolias and JI Pure Gloss in cotton candy-- altogether they make a perfect summer makeup wardrobe. It's like they picked out the colors with my blush in mind-- neat!!)

Thanks for a great review! I'm a real fan of Cargo's regular blushes, and I've had my eye on this one, too. The colour combination is gorgeous. It's good to know it's not too shimmery -- I'm not a teenager any more. I'll just have to put it back into my EDS cart.
And how fantastic were your random gifts?! Enjoy! |

I've been eyeing that cargo blush for awhile as my summer blush...
what are people's thoughts on Nars Super Orgasm as a summer blush? Right now I'm using Scott Barne's "posh", which I love but looking for an alternative colour for the summer months. |
