I've never been to a wedding before and got a wedding invitation that says :
M. __________________
No. will _______________________ attend.
What do i write? I am planning on bringing one guest. |

M. __________________
No. will _______________________ attend.
The first line is for your name: Ms. BCgirl and Mr. your guest name
If you were declining the invitation, then on the line between the words will and attend you would write the word "not". |

I think the line in between will and attend is for the number of people. So, if you are bringing a guest you would write 2. I've never seen an invitation like this though. |

I suspect that's actually the RSVP card.
The first poster was right ... but it does depend upon how the invitation was addressed.
If it was addressed to "Ms BCgirl & Guest" then you would put Ms. BCgirl ... or Ms. BCgirl and the name of your guest ...
[Be sure to note how the envelope was addressed as it may be just you who is invited and the option for bringing someone may not be there.]
The line between "will" and "attend" is generally for the word "not" if you can't attend. It's left blank if you're attending.
However, if there is, indeed a "No." then it's set up incorrectly. If they wanted the number of people attending, they should have put ...
No. who will attend: _______
If, indeed, you are permitted to bring a guest, the top line where you put your name and the name of your guest should give them the number. The bottom line is usually to let them know whether or not you will or won't be able to join them.
