I am not sure why one has to wait for 10-20 minutes before applying anything else. Can someone please enlighten me?
I haven't been able to wait for more than two minutes in the morning - the two minutes that I use to brush my teeth.
For those who apply vit C at night, I am curious to know if find your pillow case be stained as a result? |

I keep my Vitamin C serum on my bedside table, so that as soon as my alarm clock goes off, I put it on and then go about the rest of my getting up and eating breakfast routine. |
Works better if you cleanse and exfoliate first! |
Is there a wait time between my cleansing(and exfoliating) and vit c?
I have been using mama lotion (putting it on face letting it sit and washing it off) every other day..would you consider this exfoliating?
Thanks again..this forum is lucky to have you.

I use SkinCeuticals Ferulic serum together with their B5 hydrating gel both AM and PM. They work wonders. I will need to order soon, does anyone know where I can get a good price. I got 25% discount during X'mas but now no one seems to have it on sale. Help! |

Hi neighbor! Sorry I lost track of this thread and didn't see your post till now.
After cleansing and exfoliating, just make sure your face is thoroughly dry, before applying your vitamin C. Then once the C is well absorbed (15 minutes), you can apply your moisturizer or sunscreen etc..
Lou, I don't know a thing about mama lotion, sorry!
My favorite things for exfoliating are two of the simplest. I use Alpha Hydroxy Souffle at night, and a microfiber cloth morning and night. It's gentle yet effective for my mature skin. I'm a huge fan of microfiber cloths, and found great ones at "Pep Boys Auto Supply".. |

Sfong - I think I read that Skinceuticals is no longer readily available on the internet as it once was. They seemed to have taken their product back and it is now more selectively sold. |
