maybe i should try the sample pack! |
The sample pack doesn't really give you enough to see a difference on your skin, but it's a good way to see if the products would be suitable for your skintype. |

I have a full size ADCE but have not really use it consistently. After reading this thread, I would like to incorporate it in my daily regime. So, my concern is, can I use it on top of other Vitamin C products that i am currently using, for once a day? |

Hi skinmelon, this should be OK. I use Cellular Skin RX-firming serum right after cleansing/toning. Once that sinks in, then I apply the skinprep and ADCE. |

Absolutely I use Mineral Prep, C&C and then AlphaDermaCE. I suggest that you wait about 2-5 minutes after you apply C to put on AlphaDermaCE. I find waiting a few minutes between products makes a big difference. |

Thanks for your input. I see some improvements on the fine lines on my forehead after using ADCE consistently for a few days. I will keep it up for the result. I would like to improve the firmless around eye area. what are the products from this range? |

I was going to try this line, but then started reading other threads about the potential risks of using DMAE. Anybody else concerned with the DMAE in ADCE? |

I'm 44 and my skin type is very oily. Alphaderma CE works like a champ for me. I also use the Skin Prep, but I would really say it's the ADCE that's doing all the work because I didn't start using the Skin Prep until much later. While I don't have deep wrinkles, the few fine lines that I did have [forehead, eyes, lips] have either greatly diminished or disappeared and my face is very smooth. I like everything about this stuff, including the texture. You don't use a lot, so it does last a pretty long time.
I've also tried several other products in the Janson-Beckett line. The Organic Skin toner & Vitamin C&C aren't strong enough for my oily skin [went back to MD Forte & Skinceuticals], and I honestly haven't noticed any benefits from the Okusil.
My sister has dry skin, and was having trouble with a continual rash. She'd had it for years and I think she just was using something on her face she was allergic to [like cheap products!!] but didn't realize it, to be honest. She started using the JB regimen of Skin Prep, ADCE, and Vitamin C&C, and her face cleared up within the first week. Both of us were pretty amazed at that, and she's really, really happy with her skin now. |

Hi existentialady, just noticed your post. Well I am always trialling and searching! I have had some luck with Clarins extra firming serum, an unheard of product from MG Labs (I think I will review that soon!), and believe it or not Avon ultimate eye cream all over my face. I also find Lancome older range ok.
At the moment I have just bought a big swag of Gatineau products - so far so good, but too soon to really comment.
I will probably get around to giving the JB another try at some time. |

Your results don't surprise me at all. For the right person and skin type AlphaDerma CE is outstanding. So glad it worked well for you.
I still am using it after 3 years. |
Winnie, since this product has worked so great for you can you tell me your skin type. I want to try this product but I have dry skin! Thanks |

I have been using JB products for over 4 years and absolutely love the ADCE & the Mineral Prep. I faithfully use it every morning and evening. I have virtually no wrinkles, even skin tone and a pretty youthful glow to my skin. This was not always the case, ADCE really improved my complexion over time. I have also tried their organic cleanser & toner and found it so-so not really impressive, the okusil & dermaexcel 7 were nice but did not produce significant enough results to justify the $$. But, again the Mineral Prep & ADCE are outstanding and far superior to any other product I have tried (and I have tried TONS!. Definitely worth the $$. |

Starlight, In the winter my skin is combo with some dry patches. During the summer combo with oily T zone. Winter time I sometimes use a moisturizer over AlphaDerma. Janson Beckett has a moisturizer that works very well with its line. You could use a moisturizer of your choice if need be (I have used Emu Oil..Dremu). I would never consider AlphaDerma drying but some require added moisture. HTH's |

I used Alphaderma CE and Skin Prep 2 years ago and used up 2 bottle, but frankly, it didn't really improve my skin, quite disappointed. |

Me too, I have been using the skin prep + CE for more than a month, they are not bad but no dramatic result noted. Wondering did I use them in a correct way?
I use the skin prep at evening + ce on top and use C+C in the morning before sunscreen (I tried to use skin prep + ce in AM, but they did not sink in well and form residual after applying sunscreen on top.
Ladies over there, any advices?
Thanks, |

happycat, I didn't really notice a difference in firmness or reduction of forehead and necklines until I'd been using for a few months. |

I been using Janson Beckett line going on four years. From time to time I have mixed things up and found some nice products to give me a change but JB products are my HG's.
Here is what I do:
I exfoliate my skin once a week in order to get the best product absorption. I personally use Lactic Acid for my mature skin. You need to find an exfoliant suited for you. I use one half pump of skin prep on my damp face, C&C or C Serum of choice. Once totally absorbed 1/2 to 3/4 pump AlphaDerma for my face and neck. For a sunscreen I have been using Janson Becketts for several months and absolutely love it. It feels like a light moisturizer.
I absolutely noticed a big change in my skins elasticity when I started using AlphaDerma. When first starting I believe that ADCE and Prep should be used twice a day for best results. |
