Lefemme, I saw your post in this thread about Vichy Meokine:
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?p=302324#302324
I've been seriously tempted to try it, and would love to hear about your experience with it. Thank you so much. If you could post a full review in the Prod Review section, it would be great.
Anyone else who tried it, please post your experience or write a full review if you can. Thank you in advance. |

Hey Cherisse! I have sampled Vichy's Myokine Intensive Anti-Wrinkle for Dry Skin from my SO's mother during a weekend visit, so I can only give you some brief first impressions. Overall I liked the texture and found it very hydrating for the colder seasons in Canada, but would need to use it for a much longer period of time to know if there were any additional anti-aging benefits. If I were to buy a bottle, I would definitely purchase the Normal version as the one for dry skin is pretty heavy and more like a night cream in terms of density. During the two day period I sampled this cream I did not break-out or have any adverse reactions. I just found it too heavy to wear under my make-up. I also think that this cream is geared towards older women, like my SO's mother, who is about to turn 60. She absolutely loves the Vichy Meokine line and has been using this particular cream for more than a year now as she finds it super effective at hydrating her dry skin. She feels it has softened her wrinkles to an extent also, but the truth is she has beautiful skin and isn't that wrinkly to begin with. I have not noticed any major changes in her skin since she's been using this product either, but again, her skin is very nice for her age. HTH's a bit...sorry I couldn't provide more info! |

Scottslass, it sounds like the one you tried from your mom is very promising. Are you planning to buy some to try as well?
I caved and bought the Vichy Meokine Fusio Night to try. CVS sells it for $36. I've used it 3 nights so far starting on Saturday night. So far so good. It seems promising. I won't write a full review until after using it for 3 weeks. If all goes well, I will also buy their Dermo-Crease one which I think is for day use, and the one for the eyes. If I end up not liking it, CVS told me I could return it for a refund. |
