How long has it been? You must remember that it is summer, and people do holiday often (although, personally, I wouldn't place an add for something I knew I couldn't respond to when the auction was over... )
Ebay has a forum of their own where they can answer questions probably faster than you'll get a response from here... I'm guessing. Just be aware that there are things you can do when the time is right, and there is no reason to panic, just yet.
I hope things work out well for you and your transaction. Don't get addicted to e-bay, it's easy. Good luck. |

Hi nodouble, I've purchased and sold many things on ebay and have never had a bad experience; I'm a repeat buyer from some of my favorite sellers.
Before I purchase from a new seller, I check their feedback. [both those the seller has left for others and feedback left for the seller]. The keywords I look for in feedback: Item as described, good communications and quick shipping. I'll also look for feedback on similar items I'm contemplating buying. I'm careful not to buy from asia because I'm only interested in the real deal, not counterfeits.
After I check feedback, I'll check their shipping policy and shipping charges. Someone with great prices and great feedback won't get my business if they're charging outrageous $$ for shipping. Under shipping policy, you may find that the seller only ships once a week. Or a statement that indicates how soon they ship from the time they receive payment.
If you paid with paypal, the seller has to ship within 7 days or face a possible chargeback.
Give it at least 7 business days. Once the transaction is complete, be sure to leave honest feedback. [i.e., great product but slow communications]
Good luck, |

i agree with everything athena says - i buy and sell regularly on ebay, and i have had two experiences where the seller has not sent my item nor responded to my messages. in both instances, i waited a week, contacted them three times over another week-long period and then, after the two weeks had gone by without any response, i opened a dispute via paypal ... remarkable how quickly both sellers then responded once paypal got involved! i made sure i was polite in my wording when opening the dispute because i didn't want my own feedback as a buyer tarnished, but in both instances the buyer responded very quickly to the disputes and i received my items and left (as athena suggested) honest but politely-worded feedback.so the moral of this story is: as long as you paid by paypal, you're covered. |

I always sell my beauty products that are not suitable for me on ebay, and every time I ship the items, I always contact the buyer to let them know its been despatched and whether I sent it 1st or 2nd class. I just think that its polite to do so, but not necessary.
When I buy products off ebay, there are some sellers that wont email me when they have sent the item and they dont usually reply my emails within a day. So I would wait at least 3 days to see if you receive the item, then email her again. If she doesnt reply in 7 days, open a dispute.
Even though I've received most things that I have bought, I've had several instances when I've sold an item and the buyer couldnt be contacted...but then after 10 days or so, she emails me apologetically saying she had an emergency and paid immediately. And I think that's understandable, as sometimes its so easy to bid on something then forget about it and not check your emails for a few days. But of course, as a buyer, if you dont hear from the seller, you would worry about it especially if it was expensive.
Hope it all works out for you! |

graceless_lady, your reply made me laugh! I know exactly what you mean about how a seller can ignore email after email, but the second you contact paypal suddenly they are very responsive!! |

Nodouble, if you don't get an answer in five days, you will have to file a complaint with ebay and your credit card company (or Paypal if you paid that way) to get a refund. The place to find out how is the ebay website. |
