Oh, I wish I had help for you!
But I do want to try Dr. H's stick.
A strange thing I have is a Dermalogica acne treatment. http://www.essentialdayspa.com/dermalogica-medibac-conce-p_7909.htm
It was totally terrifying when I first got it as it's a very runny liquid sulfur type thing. Scared me. Thought my face was going to fizzle away with each dropper full.
I have used it after it sat in my drawer for a few weeks (I really was scared). I have fair skin with a bit of ruddiness in my chin area. This liquid actually happened to create okay coverage on my pimples. Seemed to hide the 'red'. I don't know if it actually is making the pimples go away faster, but I do like the placebo effect and the coverage.
I also use a (forgive me) Clinique concealing stick/pencil. It's so easy and fast if I'm in a rush. |

I'm glad to hear someone reviewing that Dermalogica item -- I had looked into it when it first came out, and I think I rejected it based on some less-than-natural ingredients. But now I'm getting more desperate, and therefore more flexible.
Do you have a sense of whether it's really drying to your skin? I.e. does it make the areas where you apply tight or flaky at all? |

So I did actually take the plunge and buy a few Everyday Minerals concealers. (I would've bought Alima, as theirs seemed to be heavier coverage, but they didn't have the different color-corrective ones, which I find very useful.)
We'll see how it goes when they get here. I'm probably going to try adding a bit of oil to make them apply creamy, and who knows -- I may just make up an oil-and-beeswax base to mix them into, since I'm still on the fence about the whole powder concealer thing. We'll see! |

K, I'm in love with my new Everyday Minerals "palette". Long story short, I bought every skin-toned shade they had (except the deepest one), plus two color corrective ones, and I also got a third color-corrective one as a freebie. So all in all, eight shades.
I LOVE them! Best acne concealer solution I've found yet, and they also work well for other stuff (i.e. blotchiness on my neck due to some mild Retin-A irritation, and the occasional under-eye circles).
I wrote more about it in my skincare blog if anyone feels like reading my typical eight-paragraph style, hehe:
