Because I really WANT it
My morning cleanser is running low and it's time to order a new one. This cleanser has been calling my name, but, at $82 dollars, is it really worth it? |

Wow that IS expensive!
How about trying the John Masters Organics Rose Foaming Face Wash instead? I've had both and the JM is just as nice as the Organic Pharmacy one IMO and it's a lot cheaper. |

No, you don't need it!!!
I haven't tried this cleanser but the Organic pharmacy has left me un-impressed on the whole.
If you feel like splurging, I hear fantastic reviews about the Cellcosmet cleanser! |

I agree about the brand in general, I am just not convinced about it. They have recently launched a range of makeup and the foundation is terrible. I tried some on and the sales assistant tried to convince me about this very yellow colour. I did not like the colours or the textures. The prices are just ridiculous, especially £45 for a trial kit which contains mostly hair and body products... The only product which is a keeper is the sun cream, but I might go back to Dr Hauschka again because it smells nicer and protects the skin better as well as the small matter of the price. |

I've never used this brand before. I think $82 is very expensive for cleaning gel. |

Of course you don't 'need' it! It's a skincare product not say a sanitary water supply..
But it is nice.I had great results with it. And it ended up lasting 4-5 months. Currently using the Ren rose cleanser which is on just about to run out and I've had it two months. So not a big difference in price? This is based on a more or less like for like comparison of using every morning though I also used the OP one at night sometimes.I like the Ren cleanser but it really is just a wash that you can use in the morning, the OP one could also be used to remove light make up in the evening (olive oil based although rinses off very easily).
Personally, I think the Organic Pharmacy line is overhyped and overpriced (e.g. compare OP bath oils with Ren). However, IMO there are some star products. One is this rose wash and the other is the Skin Rescue Oil. I have really sensitive skin, e.g. I can bruise myself by being too keen with a muslin cloth. When I've had problems, like when I first started using Vitamin A products and looked like I'd gone two rounds with Mike Tyson, the oil just sorted me out within a couple of days. Also, after my skin went berserk after a makeover (yes I know, I should have known better). I was worried it would cause clogged pores but it didn't. I also used it when I had dry stressed skin and gave it to my friend who also loved it. Just used a few drops on its own as a moisturiser at night.
Also, the baby shampoo and wash have got my hubby's dry skin issues under control. |
