My skin is a bit sensitive. So the brush I would like to put on my face has to be very soft. I have tried to feel the Handi and Kabuki brushes from youthblood, i.d and Jane Iredale, but none of them is soft enough for me.
Currently I am using a powder brush from the Body Shop, which is the only one I am satisfied right now. Does anyone konw a MMU brush which is as soft as the powder brush from the Body Shop? or better? Thank you for your help.
By the way, what is the difference between Handi and Kabuki brushes? |

Hi there! I know just what you mean--- I have very sensitive skin too, and brushes like the JI Handi are way too scratchy for me. The key is to find a high-quality synthetic brush. Here are some good options that are WAY softer than the Body Shop brushes and perfect for sensitive skin:
*Alima #25 Foundation Brush - Best brush for sensitive skin EVER!!! SOOOO luxurious!
*Lumiere Synthetic buffer brush
*Urban Decay powder brush
Also, I just ordered the synthetic flat-top brush from U Glo Girl, so I'll let you know how I like it! |

*Lumiere Synthetic buffer brush
The synthetic Lumiere brushes are the softest. I have one and it is my prefered kabuki brush for applying foundation. My Red Earth and EDM usually just sit there.

I have one of these brushes. They go on clearance every once in a while. I paid $5.99 for mine because it had a scratch (somewhere) on the handle. These are GREAT for applying blushes, bronzers especially if you are fair and need a light touch. |

| I second the *Urban Decay powder brush! I usually use the kabuki(sp) brush from the BE kit, but I recently bought the Urban Decay and I am in love with it. It is so soft and picks up the powder so well, applies excellent. Remember though, good rule of thumb, if you want good application, it is all in the tools and spending money on a good brush will be all well worth it. This baby was not cheap either, so I am hoping it will last. I found that other brushes, although equal in price, fall apart after a few washings. |

Not to worry, Berquis, it will last and then some!! My UD Powder brush has seen hard wear and many washings over the past couple of years, and it's still in wonderful shape and has never shed a single hair. Definitely a good investment, IMO! |

| I actually don't like the Alima #25 brush... I find it hard to manage and I *really* have to work the MMU to get it into the skin. I really like the MAC 182 Kabuki. Whatever you do, don't buy the Laura Mercier brush, it sheds more than a Husky in the desert! |

Thank you everyone for your suggestion.
I just chose to place an order of Lumiere, because the price looks reasonable and they ship internationally. Besides I would like to try their MMU. If it is good, I will order their buffe brush also.
