What things are OTC in Canada that aren't the US? Or good deals?

It looks like some Retin-A creams are OTC. (???)

Some OTC drugs have codeine in Canada.

I'm not sure if silver nitrate (nitrite?) is available there.

Are Mexoryl products cheaper in Canada?

I have a sister living in Canada and was wondering if there was anything I should be asking her to bring with her when she visits...

TIA

It would be news to me if Retin-A type creams were OTC here.

Yes, there is codeine in small amounts in 222's and Tylenol #1, and generic versions each. You have to go to the pharmacist.

Don't know about Canada, but I was sure shocked to go into a Farmacia in Cozumel and see EVERYTHING for sale w/o prescription, albeit most of the OC were hopelessly out-of-date and old-fashioned.

We have a wider variety of sunscreens. If you are looking for a cheap ss for your body the Ombrelle ones are good and contain Mexoryl SX as the filter. Ombrelle is a L'oreal company.

Avene and La Roche Posay have good skin care and I like La Roche Posay suncreen (contains Mexoryl). Vichy is also another sunscreen with Mexoryl.

Annabelle, Quo and Marcelle are makeup brands available in the drugstore exclusive to Canada.

Oh, and if you like chocolate we have some different candy bars such as Coffee Crisp, Smarties, etc. My brother loves ketchup potato chips and they are not available in the US.

If you take a look at some the cdn pharmacy sites it will give you an idea of what is OTC.
