I don't see why its disgusting, its clearly something that people have used, and its not like you're scooping it out of a used litter tray
I did look into it at one point, but found Mint Julepe mask and am happy with that now.
I know people do use this stuff, adding essential oils etc to give it extra oomph.
Give it try if you want, don't think it will do any harm, just look for ones that are 100% natural clay.. |

It's not as bad as putting bat poop on your lips, which I understand many lipsticks contain, or putting formaldehyde (an embalming fluid) on your nails which allows it to leech into your system. Most nail polishes contain formaldehyde.
If the litter is 100% natural clay, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Sounds like a good, cheap way to get around all the hype to pay higher prices for marketing, packaging and other psychological tricks manufacturers use to get us to part with our money and sometimes even trick us to use things we shouldn't.
I might try it! |

Sure you could, although coffee grounds will have a completely different effect than 100% clay - so I suppose its really depending on what your goals are to using a particular mask.

I have three cats and the idea of putting kitty litter on my face is disgusting. Can't you use coffee grounds or something if you want to DIY? |
