Hello Everyone!

In addition of my 2007 Skin and Hair Tips I also use detox pads every nite. They are amazing!!

The detox pads are white in the beg. but the next morning, they are BLACK.

The ingredients that are in the detox pads are:

50% TOURMALINE
15% WOOD VINEGAR
15% BAMBOO
etc.

Im on week two and the whites of my eyes are getting brighter and my iris eye color is getting lighter from brown to a mid-light brown.

I have seen something like this in a catalogue. They are pads you put on your feet and wear to bed and in the morning they are supposed to have drawn toxins out of your body.

I assume this is what is being referred to. Have never used them. I have also seen a foot soak that claims the same thing. The pics show the water being a nasty brown after you soak your feet in them.

Anyone else use these?

There's already a thread discussing foot detox patches and the foot baths. http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=19246 My husband's grandmother goes for the foot baths every couple weeks and I think she is just wasting her money.

These patches, instead of using clay use bamboo and wood vinegars (pyroligneous acids) which essentially are the fluid or sap derived from tree cells which have great absorbing power like clay does. Using natural products like clay with these sap based tree resins makes good sense. Each seems to have properties and methods of application that compliment the other. It should be interesting to note, when it comes to the placement of these patches on the soles of the feet that if one tapes a clove of garlic to the sole of one's foot, one will taste the garlic on his or her breath within minutes. This shows again the open permeability of the skin and its ability to transport chemicals into the entire system. Thus we can experiment with using the feet as a possible

Hmm that is interesting. I am going to have to try the garlic thing - because I am curious now. Anywhere on the sole of the foot?

have u ever thought that the change of color could be the ingrediant coming into contact with water? rather than toxins from body......I just find this abit hard to digest that you get results as such straight away for a couple of minutes...........so i think that could be another possibility to think about. And if you dont use water than whatever you use for the footbath when all the ingrediants come into contact with each other they create the color? Confused

Apparently, it's just rust and the color of the vinegar coming into contact with your foot. There's no way such a large amount of minerals can literally go through your feet in a short time of 12 hours.

I now think the foot bath is kind of scam but I still willing to give the foot pad a try.
