I can't say the same for the PSF Green Tea cleanser. While it is gentle and I thought it removed all traces of makeup (I don't wear much), one day I used a white facecloth over my face after cleansing. It came away covered with makeup and blush. And, that is when I realized that I really wasn't cleansing my skin thoroughly enough. I'm now using a glycolic cleanser (NeoStrata) which really cleanses, although I don't consider it gentle at all! |

What I should have clarified is that I use a Cleansing oil first then the PSF, so really its getting any "leftovers". |

I have Combo/oily skin prone to oily shine.
Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser -- didn't feel like it cleaned my skin very well. (a larger grocery store will have small 4oz bottles so you can try it that only cost ~$4.00)
Cetaphil Normal/Daily Cleanser -- felt like it cleaned better, but it looked like there were more chemical ingredients also.
PSF's new castile cleanser -- foams up nicely and felt like it got rid of all the oilies.
PSF's green tea cleansing milk -- lotion feel. Smelled and felt good, but it didn't feel like it cleaned well enough for me. If my skin was dry rather than oily, I think I would give this another try, but it's a good match for my skin type.
Still looking for my ideal cleanser - not too expensive and gets rid of the oilies. I have jojoba but it seems weird to me to cleanse with oil. I still can't imagine cleaning my hair with oil. I have very fine blond oily hair that must be washed daily. Doesn't it weigh your hair down? |
