One of my pet peeves is when sites don't list the ingredients right there on the company website, and they make me go to Sephora.com or Drugstore.com (or here on EDS!) to get the ingredients. That just doesn't sit well with me.
And, well, the limit as to what I'm willing to spend on skincare has been going up steadily for several years, but I still balk at $50 for a jar of moisturizer. At my rate I'll be in my eighties before I'm willing (or rich enough!) to pay for a jar of La Mer! Plus, while they don't list their ingredients, I'm pretty sure they contain a high percentage of mineral oil = no thanks on this girl's skin!
John, thanks for weighing in on castor oil's stability. I'll have to poke around more and see where I can find that reference. Personally, I've never found my castor oil to go rancid, but I just can't stand its texture even when it's fresh! Too gooey. |

This is great info! After receiving several oils that I ordered, I'm curious about the smell of the pomegranate seed oil. Is it supposed to have this "-"?? It is quite a strong odor.. And it does look a bit cloudy - in comparison to the rosehip for example.
TIA for any input if you think this may be bad..or if it's normal. |

Sorry I can't answer this; pomegranate seed oil IS on my list of future purposes for DIY antiox serum so I'm interested in this. Have you asked the company you purchased from? |

Thanks Athena123. I did finally get a hold of the place I bought it from. And she did say it has a smell.. I'm so sheltered apparently ~ I've never smelled pomegranate before! So I didn't know it's natural to have an odor. |
