I've never had it done(but I totally need it). Anyway, there's an open house for a medi-spa around here and they are offering botox for $12 a vial. If I had my forehead and glabellar lines done, about how many vials would that take?

(I'm in the US, by the way.)

THANKS

Are you sure it is $12 a vial? It may be $12 a unit. A spa here quotes $14 a unit but $10.50 first time customer. I believe the "estimate" was going to be a little over $320.

I have a friend who pays a little over $400 for her botox. I, honestly, do not know if those are good prices or not. I am sure someone can tell you if that is a deal.

BBD - I personally think that's a good price. My girlfriend does botox at "botox parties" for $10/unit. I normally get 32 units so $320. Depending on how much you need around the eyes and the forehead, I would guesstimate needing between 30 and 40 units. I've been to a ps (I loved his botox) and a derm (didn't like at all) who both charged $400-$450 and I never knew how many units at the time. With the derm, I called after the fact because I just didn't think it worked as well and I found out he used 20 units!! For $400, that sucks!

Open houses and "parties" like that ~ you'll see the best pricing (I've found). And they'll be wanting to get you as a client at this open house!! Go for it! Laughing Gosh, I don't like botox too much??
