I’ve bruised easily my entire life. For me, it’s genetics because my mother and sisters are the same. I’ve never found arnica to make much of a difference with me. Recently, I’ve discovered that Vitamin K does a fantastic job! After I apply my body moisturizer after showering, I slather a thick blob on all my bruises and then rub in about five minutes later. Bruises that use to take weeks to heal, now disappear in only a few days. I use an inexpensive brand called Vita-K Solution which I get from Walgreen’s for around $10.
I’ve also found that digging deeply into a bruise with pointed pressure and rubbing hard will help clear it up. I had a friend who would use the eraser end of a pencil. I just use my knuckle, but rarely do this because it hurts and it is too time consuming for the number of bruises I have. |
