Been doing a ton of reading...I probably need glasses now...anyways
About my self, early 20s. I THINK I have dry/normal skin. Have un-even facial surface with bumps. Have little acne scars, but still have 1 or 2 pimples here and there...however not too worried.
My goal is just to have clear and smooth skin.
This is what I gathered so far. Please let me know what I should improve on. Educate me please!!

I think Dr. H toner contains high level of alchol in ingredient. It can dry your skin. |

seems like you are Dr.H or Decleor fan, so try Decleor Toner for oily skin. |

AndyJee, I can't comment on the Dr H products, as I don't use Dr H. However, seeing as you describe your skin as being "dry/normal," you shouldn't be using either Ylang Ylang or Purete Matt, as these are better suited for oily skins. As a moisturizer, you may want to consider the Hydra-Floral Emulsion. Should this not be enough, you could then add the Neroli oil. For bumps and uneven texture, you could also try the Essential Balm; this should help purify.
Are you sure your skin isn't dehydrated? |

YOu might want to consider adding some gentle exfoliation into your routine as well to help smooth out skin. You can either use something like a microderm cloth or Pevonia's enzyme cream, or Epidermx scrub if you can handle abrasives.
I agree with Vanna, it's important to hydrate the skin as well - my hg moisturiser is Zenbiotic Phyto (glycerine based) |

Thanks for the tips everyone.
To exfoliate, I plan to use Dermalogica Microfoliant.
I'm thinking you guys are right about finding the right moisturiser. My face never feels smooth...just not oily and not soft, guess thats what you call normal?
Vanna, I'm not sure if my skin is dehydrated, but most likely since I never used anything before, just rinsed my face with water. |
