I did a search on this topic before posting, but didn't find anything. Has anyone here used the Vivant Peel or Vivant Pro-peel? (I guess the Peel/Pro-peel are interchangeable.) I usually get a jessner peel once a year in the fall or winter, to try and smooth my skin, get rid of hyperpigmentation, etc. However, my aesthetician has recommended the Vivant Peel. It apparently consists of the following:
Jessner, then 7.5% TCA, then 15% TCA, and then Vitamin A.

Usually with the Jessner I end up looking okay at the end of the peel....no major redness or irritation. However, with the TCA, I'm a little concerned about how I'll look. I'm taking off one week for the peel, but then have to return to work. Has anyone had this peel or this combination? How was your final result? I'm trying to decide whether I should go forward with this one or not......help!!!! Confused

Well, I went ahead and had it done. I'm in day 4, and can't say that I'm overly impressed with it. It really hasn't helped so far with the hyperpigmentation at all....unless there's going to be some major/dramatic change when the peel is complete. My next step is to start Obagi. I just received the Obagi kit from EDS so I may try to start it up next week. Why, why, why can't I have nice, normal skin????? Crying or Very sad
