Ok, I've had one of those unfortunate occurrences where I tried two new products during the past week or so and now my skin is reallllly dry. It looks and feels like crap.javascript:emoticon('')
Mad So, the two new products were NOW brand hyaluronic acid serum and Malin and Goetz grapefruit cleanser. I use generic Retin-a .025%. So, can anyone recommend something I can do to moisturize and/or soothe my skin? I'm going to stop both products but I think the cleaner is the culprit. |

I think you are right Peachy! Ditch the cleanser. Grapefruit is a known skin irritant and you don't want that! Switch to a gentle (and I mean gentle) cleanser with no active ingredients. Cleansers are the bain of all skin problems. As for the dryness, to get your skin back into balance try Elizabeth Grant serums. Try ebay, for the best prices. HTHs!! |

I absolutely swear by using OCM. I've tried all sorts of cleansers and they seem to irritate my skin whereas the oils seem to nourish and sooth it. BTW, I also use Retin-A. |
