I was in the Urban Retreat salon in London for a manicure and noticed the Philip kingsley shampoo and conditioner bottles firstly for their size, they were selling stubby little (refillable) 75ml bottles that looked perfect for my gym bag. So on my way to the till with the perfect gym sized shampoo and conditioner in my hand one of the hair stylists asked me if I had any questions about the line. Her hair was gorgeous! It was dyed blond but looked like a child's hair, so shiny and natural and really glowing with health. She is a big fan of the PK range and she sent me off with three trail sizes of the Elasticizer and convinced me I needed the Preen cream too.
Now two weeks later I am still completely faithful to this routine. Shampoo and Condition with the moisture balance and two pumps of preen cream before blow drying. I use the elasticizer once a week and I am thrilled with the results.
The Shampoo is great for everyday use, which I need as I am a daily washer. It is no frills, but smells nice and my hair doesn't feel dried out when I rinse. The conditioner leaves my shoulder length hair perfectly comb able and soft and the preen cream makes my hair extra shiny and it just falls into place so nicely when I use it.
Preen cream is what I wanted Khiels Silk Groom to be, but instead the Khiels always left me so greasy and lank.
My hair is not colour treated anymore (I had the final remnants of highlights cut off at my last haircut, yay!) but the entire range is suitable for colour treated hair.
Needless to say I will be buying bigger bottles now! |

is this a UK salon only product? Where do you get it from? I have been using KMS but recently they changed the packaging and the formula (i think because it is more chemical-smelling now) - previously i loved the KMS for the fruit-smells. Looking for a change. |

You can purchase it from the philip kingsley website (just click on the US flag under the word shop) but I ordered from a website called ukhairdressers dot com as it was a little cheaper |

thanks. I will have a look. problem with ordering internationally from the UK is the freight - almost end up paying more for freight than for the actual product! |

I was visiting in Hong Kong a while ago and saw this brand of products at a department store, so out of curiosity I picked up a Scalp Mask to try. I've been using it once to twice a week now and I really like it! I don't have really have an oily scalp, but am prone to pimples (which are a pain when you brush your hair!), but at the same time I get dermatitis on the same area from time to time. This product worked wonderfully in that it did not aggravate my skin, yet the salicylic acid in it cleared up my pimples pretty darn quickly. It also makes my head less itchy. I use this mask regularly now to maintain the skin on my scalp. I usually use this in conjunction with a leave-in conditioning/protein treatment on the rest of my hair, and keep everything covered with a shower cap for an hour. My only complaint is that this tiny little tube is rather expensive at $90HKD ($12USD), considering it only gives about 2 applications. I am on the lookout for a cheaper alternative, but haven't come across anything similar that contains exfoliating ingredients.
