Hey I think I found a solution for my hair without having to resort to using SLS shampoo and cones-filled conditioner. I just got my GOW order and tried their SLS-free shampoo base. I mixed that with seamolients. I also added seamolients and jojoba oil to my conditioner. My hair felt really nice and smooth. No tangles!
Then when my hair was damp dry, I applied GOW's raspberry leave-in conditioner. My hair seems to love this, too. It's not quite dry yet. (I didn't blowdry my hair this morning. Just brushed and ran out of the house since I was late for work.) But I could see my hair will be nice and soft after it's dry.
So I'm having a nice hair day today. I think the seamolients is a great thing. It works better for my hair than SKB. Plus it's a lot cheaper.
Note: I tried to use the GOW Leave-in when my hair was dry, and it hardened up and was not good. Seems using it while it's a bit damp but not dripping wet gets a better result. |
