I really think that every member of this forum is searching for the "fountain of youth" but in reality we can't hold back the hands of time - we will all get old (that's if we're lucky!) The only sure-fire way to reverse saggy baggy skin is to have a face lift.
Having said all of that I'm determined not to go down without a fight so, thanks to this forum, I'm using CP's, Retin-A, Vitamin C etc. I also use the Baby Q, Dermawand and the Dermaroller. I DO think that the texture of my skin is improving but my saggy jowls are still there. Every time I look in the mirror I'm fixated with my marionette lines - BTW I'm 57 so gravity is taking a hold.
Now, we all have our "ugly" days, those days when you look and feel like crap but you shouldn't be feeling like this all the time. I would recommend getting a new hair-do and re-vamping your makeup. Go and see someone about getting some Botox and facial fillers (they can make a huge difference and are worth the expense). I also highly recommend the Dermawand and skin needling.
I sincerely hope you can lift yourself out of your depressed state - if you can't, talk to your doctor about it and remember YOU'RE NOT ALONE. |

I dont think any product turns back the clock but I do find that some give you a youthfull glow and help me look "well rested". I would suggest the Philosophy Make Up Optional kits...they have a few different ones and the one for Radiant skin is getting HUGE raves by me. My husband (who notices NOTHING) looked at me the other day and said....your face looks so pretty...very glowy and healthy". Needless to say...I"M SOLD!!! |

Glycolics are the way to achieve good skin. Nothing else seems to do for me. |

I agree with Keliu. I've spent hundreds of dollars on lotions and potions. Why you say - because I love face products. I love trying new masques, face creams, eye creams, etc. I love getting together with the girl friends on Saturdays for coffee and yakking about the newest products we've been trying.
Experiment with products and see what works for you. But remember you'll never get rid of wrinkles and saggy skin with out Botox, Restylane, or cosmetic surgery.
My #1 tip for a clear complexion - drink lots of water. |
