This is a comparison of the full size Gel and Cream really, since I have used both on a regular basis for a while.

I don't experience any sort of dryness or tautness in the eye area and have not used any eye care products (on a regular basis) for almost three years now. I started having concerns about fine lines on the inner bottom corners of the eye area and also a worsening "chicken skin" texture at the border of the orbital bone/cheek region.

The eye gel is meant to help with dark circles as well, which is another issue I have in the under eye area.

My skin condition - I am 21, so still suffering the aches of young skin - oiliness, congestion, some sensitivity to rich or acid products, AND dehydrated skin.

Recently, my skin barrier has been strengthening and my skin is now able to tolerate many more products and I have incorporated the cellcosmet face care range as well (another review to come).

I use one to 1.5 pumps of the gel, and it covers both eyes well with some excess sitting on top of the skin which absorbs within a few minutes. The product does dry with a finish on the skin, slightly shiny but no film like feeling. The scent is very mild compared to the cream, but I don't have sensitivities or issues about scent.

The gel definitely takes longer to soften the skin and its effects on dark circles is minimal. I have just altogether stopped testing the gel's effects on darkness and started using Teamine on problem areas.

Overall, I think I would stick with the CREAM formula since I only use 1/2 a pump for both eyes, it covers very well and absorbs well too. For value, the cream is better and I do have a standby bottle in the fridge so I won't need to repurchase any eye cream for at least a year. I don't think the cream formula is just suitable for mature skin, since the purpose of skincare is preventative and there is no harm in using an intensive product at a young age - esp if you have Caucasian skin which is generally more prone to premature wrinkling around the eye area.

I have not had any significant issues with congestion with both products. I used to always get milia or small tender spots around the orbital/cheek border from eye products, but perhaps it is my skin condition that has changed which means I am able to tolerate these eye creams.

ingredients - water, hydrolyzed fibronectin, hydorlyzed glycosaminoglycans, glyceryl polymethacrylate, propylene glycol, guanosine, glycerin, cysteine, wheat germ extract, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, inidazolidinyl urea, matricaria extract, phenoxyethanol, hydroxyethylcellulose, propylparaben, methylparaben, ethylparaben, fragrance, disodium EDTA

Very nice review. Smile

With my personal experience, it was perfect for me when I'm suffering from allergies and puffy eye lids. I found it to be non-irritating and deflated my puffy eyes. I creally can't comment if this line would help with dark circles. My guess that it would not unless you get it from stress/being up all night and all day with no sleep.

I did not apply that much. Only 1/2 a pump and I was happy with it.
