Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and wanted to find others who were experiencing what i was with Obagi.
I have been using obagi for about 2 weeks now and before then had never heard of it (or any of the other products mentioned on this site). Its a whole new world for me!
I am a dark skinned woman and using Obagi for brown spots (that i thought were cute freckles-they were NOT) and evening out my skin tone.
I use clear in the morning/all over the face (except under eye and very lightly on eyelids) and use it only on the spots and darker skin at night.
I also use blender w/tazorac at night all over the face(excluding the eye area).
About the 10th day i saw the spots fading gradually (its not a fast fade). My skin is really peeling and a few days ago started getting sore (i use vitamin E on the sore skin from a capsule that i break open).
Anyone else out there have darker skin and is going through this? I would love to hear from you.

Mixing products...that is never a good thing.
I do not know about Obagi, but I can tell you that Tazorac is very strong and causes skin peeling. It can be used for acne at low percent strength, but is also used to tx Psoriasis You may want to hold off on the Tazorac...esp if it >0.1%! |

part of the obagi system is to blend a tretinoin (such as tazorac) with blender |

yes, part of the obagi system is mixing the blender with tazorac and you are right it makes my skin peel alot. i've reduced the amount of tazorac just a bit and it already is making a difference in the peeling.
I know there is Obagi specifically for acne prone skin so i would assume that line would reduce dark acne marks.
My dark spots are fading. You really have to look closely to see that there is a spot there.
I asked a nurse where i bought the obagi abou the peeling and sore skin and she said it would take at least 6 weeks before that ended or got better. |

I'm currently using Obagi and I have medium brown/tan skin. I'm just red all over. I've been using Obagi to fade my acne marks from when I was younger and had bad skin. The bad thing about brown skin is that is scars very easily. How long have you've been on Obagi and how long did it take for your marks to fade? |
