Along with essential oils, try taking turmeric capsules (or just add turmeric powder to hot water). I heard about it from Earth Clinic. I can't link to it (I'm new) so the address is earthclinic (dot) com. There's an alphabetized page for diseases, go to "M" and scroll down until you see MRSA.

This site has remedies ordinary people recommend - nothing fancy. It's worth a try and just cost pennies. Good luck!

What about the Wild Mediterranean Oregano Oil? Isn't it supposed to be super effective against all sorts of microbes?

I just ordered some Manuka oil. My mom has a bacterial infection like MRSA.

I've used it before in a mix that I made for redness. Once I used it up I forgot about it until this thread.

sharky, where did you finally order the manuka from? I looked online today and they didn't want to quote me a price from NZ. It just said $00.00 for 1 item [I thought how nice they want to give it to me for free], but next they wanted $164.00 for shipping. At which point I gave up, do you blame me?

existential,

here is a link to the living nature oil. you may want to see if you can get the honey at a local store--i think whole foods carries it.

ETA: link doesn't work when pasted--click on home, then oils, then manuka oil!

I ordered from "living Nature" it was quite reasonable (it said it would take 10-14 days for shipping so I do not have it yet).

Thank you avalange, carekate and sharky for responding and your suggestions. I think I'll wait for the MERCY body wash and MERCY treatment gel that I ordered from nature' gift and see how that works. And look for the honey at Whole Foods. That should put my mind at ease for a while. It's good to have options.

You guys are ingesting the oil? I get it in capsules, so you don't have to taste it.

There is also a great blend from YL that has:
* Clove
* Lemon
* Cinnamon Bark
* Eucalyptus
* Rosemary
This is a great virus killer, great to take internally and diffuse in your home.
You can get more information about it here:
