Want something to smoothen out uneven skin, with some discoloration, and acne scarring. Want to stay away from very harsh stuff though, or is this what I have to resort too? I am so confused |

EpidermX II is really good for acne scars. |

Does it also help make my skin smooth? |

Yes, it does.
The texture of my skin is smoother, pores look smaller and the acne scars are less noticeable. |

You will get great results using both a home microdermabrasion and glycolic peel system. But if you just had to choose on, I would choose the microdermabrasion. I love the Neostrata one because you have control over how intense the exfoliation is because you are using your hands. It really, really smooths rough skin! |

I was going to suggest the Neostrata glycolic peels also. You may also want to consider a moisturizer with glycolic acid; this will gently exfoliate your skin and make it smoother. |

I also would suggest Epidermx II.
