I'm going to a quick trip to the beach! Which mascara is waterproof, sweat proof, contact lense friendly, and I can find at the store? |

MF 2000 Calorie Aqualash works for me and nearly everything smudges on me. |

I love the DiorShow mascara in waterproof and the Loreal Lashout in waterproof. |

Have tried them all - apparently I have oily tears so look panda like very quickly. I think the best is easily Lancome's hypnose in waterproof. Have also heard goood things about Shieshido (not sure how to spell!) but that's one I haven't tried. Professional eye-lash dye also good - home dyes are rubbbish thoug and not worth it. |

I second the Max Factor 2000 calorie waterproof version. Smooth, cheap, thick. (, reminds me of a guy I went out with in my late teens) |

This used to be my HG mascara, but then I couldn't find it anymore. It seemed like all of the stores stopped carrying Max Factor, but I know it is still being sold because I see print ads for it all the time. Where do you buy yours?
If you can find this mascara, I would definitely recommend it. It used to stand up to really tough work-outs back when I was a Division I athlete. |

I live in Australia, and it's available in most pharmacies here. Don't know what I'd do if they discontinued it. It's one of the very few products for which I never consider trying an alternative. |

There's always Blinc Kiss Me -- I won't go into too many details since there are tons of threads about this stuff, but suffice it to say that the formulation is very very different from most other mascaras. Most people either love it or hate it. It forms tiny tubes around your lashes that stay put for many people even when swimming, but for others the come off and look like "spider legs" under your eyes. I know EDS has samples so you can always request one with an order -- this might not be the quickest solution for you, though, sorry! |
