Seems I am running out of everything... Need to replace the basics. Do I have to use a toner? I would add Cellex-C serum into my routine. Am considering trying Dr. H. products. Have enjoyed Dermalogica, Cellex-C, and some Decleor products in the past. I have uneven pigmentation and tend to be toward the dry side of normal.
You have some great advice out there ladies -- bring it on! (and thanks!) |

I can suggest a good moisturizer that evens out pigmentation, it is rich but doesn't break out my oily skin. Glyquin XM has lots of good ingredients and its great! |

I tried Glyquin before for "spots". Found Cellex-C Fade Away Gel to be a better product. |

Thanks OO-CAT. Would you consider toner a necessity? (I have gone with and without and generally notice no difference.) Appreciate your reply. |

If you're using a foaming cleanser, I'd say using a toner is optional. It's a necessity if you have oily skin, have hard water, or use a milk cleanser. |

I love the eve lom cleanser - creates amazingly clear skin and reduces lines - no need to tone. IS pricey though! I've just fallen for Estee Lauder day wear plus - tinted moisturiser which adapts to suit your skin colour - am loving it! Although I love the whole Dr H philosophy and feel it has never produced very good results for me and have tried most of the skin care products. Good Luck! |

for me, a toner is optional! I've never used a toner all my life and have recently started using the DIY ACV toner posted here. It feels ok, but i definitely see no difference except the strong vinegar smell!! |

I suggest cetaphil for your moisturizer. |

I am loving Yes to Carrots mosturizers. They have both a day and night formula.

Night Cream
They can be purchased at Walgreens, online and at the store. |

Some people feel your cleanser should be Ph balanced so your other products that follow (C's and CP's) will absorb better.
Diana Yvonne has a very nice Rose Hips cleanser that is Ph balanced. Other products are available also - |
