I am looking for a very moisurizing body lotion but couldn't find any review for any. Lots for face products but none for body! Anybody try a good one? Something that won't make my chest break-out more. TIA |

I used AVAHA for several years and really like it, but now I tried avocado oil and that is absolutely the greatest and sinks in and keeps you moisturized very nicely and the skin remains soft and glowy. |

I would also love to hear reviews for great body lotions.
I use DDF glycolic body lotion sometimes, but I'm not sure if it's good to use acids on the body daily? It's very good for smoothing the skin, but not intensely moisturising.
I find price a real factor in body lotions, as if you apply them daily you can get through a bottle so quickly. |

La Roche Posay Lipikar Body Emollient is very good. I use this during the winter. Ice Elements body lotion is good too it's not enough for me during the winter. Both are sold her at EDS. |

I have discovered Ecco Bella from Wild Oats/Whole Foods. It's a lotion texture but cream moisturization level. I'm pretty impressed with it. It actually sinks in, not just sit on top and coat the skin, so I don't feel greasy but my skin actually feels moisturized. It's about $12. |

I really like Better Botanicals body lotion. I have the Botanical Body Blend, very nice scent, moisturizes better and longer than any other lotion I have tried. For a non-scented choice the Kokum Butter Body Balm is an excellent option as well. You can find them at Whole Foods.
Better Botanicals
I also like Earth to Body Moisturzing Lotion, works very well and smells like Flinstone vitamins, smell fades fast though. My only complaint is the smallish bottle.
Earth to Body
For super dry feet, elbows, knees and hands Amlactin cream is THE BEST!

The skin on my body is very dry, particularly on the shins, and I simply can't live without a good bodylotion. My favourites, in any order, are:
*Vichy Lipidiose 2
*L'Oreal Nutrilift and Nutri Therapy (I don't know if these are exclusive to the European market)
*Biotherm Anti-drying bodymilk
*Jason Natural Cosmetics aloe vera hand&bodylotion
*Clarins Moisture-rich bodylotion.
*The bodylotions from Dove, layered with sweet almond oil. |

I've tried the Vichy and Biotherm in the past and they are very good too. So many great suggestions I'm tempted to try something new. |

i used to like Trader Joe's A Midsummer Night's Cream but since they changed the main ingredient from sunflower seed oil to butylene glycol, i am no longer a fan. i am trying to use up the last bit then write a letter to TJ to let them know what i think.
I haven't tried it yet, but i have heard many a rave about Sarafina's Oasis Lotion. it is a reasonably priced body lotion with an excellent ingredient list:
Ingredients: Spring Water, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Cyclomethicone, Cymbidium Grandiflorum Flower Extract (&)Capric Caprylic Triglycerides, Vegetable Glycerin, Shea Butter, Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Squalane, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Glyceryl Monostearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Ispropyl Myristate, Vitamin A(Retinyl Palmitate), Vitamin E(Tocopherol Acetate), Cationic Guar Gum, Germall Plus(Paraben-free), Sea Buckthorn CO2 Extract, Aromatic Oil. Net Weight: 8 oz. ~ Light coconut scent.

it's on my next to try list.
I also like Osea's Ocean Lotion but i think it may not be moisturizing enough for a lot of people. it's like a gel/lotion i usually add a dollop of shea butter and coconut oil to amp it up a bit.
It also has a nice ingredient list:
100% Natural Derived Ingredients. Red Algae Gel Extract (Chondrus Crispus), Sunflower Seed Oil, Sorbitan Olivate, Macadamia Nut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Shea Butter, Saccharomyces/Copper Ferment & Saccharomyces/ Manganese Ferment & Saccharomyces/Zinc Ferment, Rose Hip Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Palmitoyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Xanthan Gum, Glycine (Amino Acid), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate.

Right now I'm using with great success Amlactin, Trader Joe's Jojoba oil, and Vanicream. The Vanicream and jojoba oil are very economical for everyday use and have my skin baby soft as winter approaches.... sigh, I love having soft skin |
