Where else can I find this at a good rate? TKB has the pearl powder but I was hoping to get both products at the same place.

xtaski, unfortunately last week I had to order pearl powder from one site and silk powder from another. The source for silk powder is here http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/

annachan, the combination of silk and pearl powders has greatly helped me to control oil. Since I began using silk/pearl primers and powders, my blotting papers have become obsolete. In addition, they possess properties very beneficial to skin.

HTH,

Athena

Thanks Athena. I guess we are the only ones using silk powder...

You could order both from Lumiere and mix them athough I am not sure how it would compare pricewise... hmm The free shipping might offset the difference?

Hi Havana, I checked Lumiere and was able to find pure silk powder but no pearl powder, what am I missing? I notice they sell silk by the gram. Do you by any chance know now many grams are in 1 oz?

Thanks,

Hi Athena! It's called Pearlfecting Powder and is in the Finishing Powders section. Here is the link although it only seems to work when pasted into your browser: Confused

(by the way, is it just me or do you find their website dog slow?)

Very cool Havana, thanks for showing that to me! Next time I run out of pearl and silk powder [it'll be a looong time, though] at least I know where I can get it in one place.

BTW, the pearl powder I got from GOW is quite gritty - BTW, GOW website warns you that it's not fine enough for MMU applications so this was on me. It worked perfectly well in my DIY pearl paste, so no worries.

Anyone have recommendations for how to mill this powder fine enough to use as a finishing powder?
