My mom is suffering from psoriasis on her ankles. Are there any OTC product or DIY potions that you can suggest? Thanks.

There are very good treatment for psoriasis.
You see, different people suffer from different degrees of psoriasis. There are even different types of psoriasis, and many people don't know this. Everyone responds differently to each treatment too, so sometimes a psoriasis treatment will work well for one person, yet not seem to make any difference for another.
PsoriAWAY is the medicine is used for psoriasis to my Friend, it results good treatment.

I've heard that seabuckthorn berry/seed oil is very good for that... http://www.bluesagenaturals.com/reliefnrescue.php

I've tried a number of prescription topicals for my mild to moderate psoriasis but the thing that really keeps the lesions under control is taking essential fatty acids (Omega 3-6). I can skip a day or two but any more than that and, sure enough, the psoriasis starts to reappear.

Has your mother tried EFAs, Amy?

It is difficult to control this disease, however, there are several options to make life easier.
I would indeed recommend taking a high dosis of Omega 3 oils.
Further on, avoiding stress (which is easier said than done).
I always benefit from exercise in the fresh air outdoors as well, which makes the flare ups somewhat calmer.

For topical relief, I like Kate somerville Goat Milk Lotion (I haven't tried their cream yet).
Another fantastic moisturizer without scent (very important) is Atopalm MLE Face cream.

I am still struggling with psoriasis on the scalp, which is difficult to target. I have been trying Philip Kingsley scalp mask once, and I really liked it! However, I have to see if it will continue to benefit me.

If your mother has a bath, let her bathe in dead sea salts...they are incredibly good for psoriasis skin. It is important not to put too much salt in it first, because the skin can overreact from too much salt, so let her get used to it first.

Most important is for her to find her own treatment which will work for her. Goodluck

I just bought an Ultrasonic Skin Care Equipment under the manufacturer's name Super Penetration Removing Facial Wrinkles. After I got this machine, very little information on how to use it is available. Confused I need to know how to use this machine and the type of product is best to use it with. Can I use it with an exfoliant product which contains hydroxy acid? Question
