I am awaiting an order of GHK serum from skin biology (and it is taking forever!)
When it arrives, I was wondering how to fit it into my routine.
I've just started ISC Super + Firming in the AM, and ISC Active + Hydracool in the PM.
Would it work to add the GHK copper serum BEFORE my active and hydracool, in the evening only?
I was hoping this would work as the vitamin C (super serum) is in the morning only.
But I think there are ACIDs in the active serum ... do i remember rightly that you are not supposed to use acids at the same time of day as copper peptides?
would really appreciate some help! |

I have used ISC but not at the moment. If I were to use ISC and CP's I would consider alternating days.
Day 1:
CP's in evening
ISC during the day
Day 2:
ISC both morning and evening
Day 3:
Go back to day one.
There is nothing wrong with using CP's every other day. Several ISC products contain Vit C. Somewhere I read on Skin Biology site that you should not use exfoliants at the same time of day as CP's. ISC has excellent exfoliation benefits. By using the routine above you won't interfere with product performance. HTH's |

Great advice Winnie thank you
I might give it a go
I think I'll end up wanting to use CPs every day in the end though, to get maximum benefit.
I wonder how many hours CPs should be left on the skin to get the benefit?
Right now I'm actually cleansing 3 times a day, AM, after gym at midday, and PM - I use the IS Clinical morning routine twice.
What i could do is use my CP serum at midday after the gym, and just follow with sunblock. Ah, but now I think about it, maybe CPs are best during sleep because that's when collagen is regenerated? |
