I love this look but have found a really annoying side effect...sometimes the liner gets in my eyes and come out as black gunk in the corner of my eyes and it looks absolutely terrible. I have to look in the mirror 20 times to wipe it out. Does anyone else have this problem, or am I possibly doing something wrong in the application? |

I use this method and what you're referring to only happens if I don't get it into the lash line enough. |

This tight-lining method sounds interesting, how do i learn about it?
Thanks! |

it will always do it a little bit (it has to wear off at least a little bit) but here are some things to minimize it:
1) try MAC fluidlines, they are the most budge-proof of all the liners (and easier to apply imo, despite me being a rabid laura mercier fan)
2) blot the rim first to get rid of moisture (helps the liner adhere)
3) line the lower waterline with a a nude or gold liner (if you don't want to do a smokey eye) -- having liner on both rims helps them last much longer. |
