Hello,
I have a sample of Valmont LElixir des glacier and I like it very much. My skin around the eyes is very dry and I am thinking to buy one of these creams. My budget is limited and I have to choose between two creams. I want to use it for my eyes area and both creams are suitable for this. Has someone used both creams? Can someone describe the main difference between both creams? Is one more moisturizing/oily than the other? Which one should I buy first?
Thanks

I have used both these creams, usually at the same time. However, if I have run out of the eye cream, I have used the face cream around the eye area without any problems. The texture is very similar but I think the eye cream is just a little bit more moisturising.
If you just want to use it around your eyes, then buy the eye cream as it will last you for 4 to 5 months whereas the face cream on both face and eyes will only last about 2 months. These products are made fresh and need to be used as soon as you receive them or within a couple of months and even being generous with the eye cream it does really last.

Just had to put my two cents in here. Wink I have just finished a generous sample of Valmont LElixir des glacier eye cream. I have read bushy's reviews for a very long time. In the back of my mind I always thought I can't afford that. I have decided that I will give up a few other products as this eye cream is gorgeous. It hydrates my eye area beautifully and those dry lines just vanish. Bushy, I should have taken you advise a long time ago.

IMO before I would even think about spending $190 for 15ml for any product I would need to see at least 30 positive reviews. For right now I will just stick with what I am using which BTW is working just fine.

I thought long and hard before I ordered the Valmont LElixir des glacier eye cream due to the price. I'm so glad I ordered this! I've been using it about 2 months now and absolutely love it! It really hydrates my under eye area. I will definitely re-order this eye cream.

Thank you everyone for sharing your experience!

Bushy , is it possible to post the ingredients for Valmont LElixir des glacier Eye cream, please. There are ingredients for Valmont LElixir des glacier on EDS, but not for eye cream.
Thanks

I recieved a sample of this and have been using it faithfully and I like it. It is tremendously expensive and it's definitely one of the best eye creams I have used. It smooths lines, feels good and is not overly greasy. Works fast too.

I used one bottle of the eye cream once. Not very impressed. It hydrates for 2 hours and that's it.

In my opinion, Valmont LElixir des glacier cream is not worth the money (650CAD). But the Valmont LElixir des glacier eye cream does (300CAD) It's the best eye cream I ever tried. It's the only cream that can hydrate my extremely dry eye area for a whole day !

Wwoo, 300CAD just for a good moisturizer eye cream? How about other effects this one can deliver to you?

Alexol, since I got tired of spending $50-100-200 on eye creams that are not even moisturizing enough, I thought I can finally spend a little bit more and be happy with the results!

As for the other effects, I cannot say much since I dont have too many wrinkles under my eyes, they only look profound when the skin is extremely dry, but now it is not ! Cool

And as for the under-eye circles/bags, I do not believe that ANY cream can significantly diminish them. Only a combination of good creams, good sleep, stress-free/anxiety-free lifestyle, good nutrition and being in love kind of state of mind! Rolling Eyes

I got a sample of the eye cream from EDS and it is has a very nice texture. It has a cooling feeling on the skin which feels great in summer. I'm not sure that I would pay $390AUD for it though when there are many other great eye creams around (and in air-tight pumps bottles as well)
