k! (orangewasabi), I tried the spritzing method but it doesn't seem to help much with the cakiness and dry look. If I spray too far from my face, the fine mist doesn't do much at all. But if I spray closer, sometimes the droplet of water will smudge my makeup. I know I might sound stupid but that's what happended this morning!!
If you wear non-waterproof mascara, it's impossible to spritz throughout the day too. |

I like a matte face with dewy cheeks. I dont like a whole dewy face. I tend to look oily that way even though I don't have a oily complexion. |

I prefer matte T zone and dewy cheeks.
I have been using Benefits Flamingo Fancy and Hollywood Glo (this makes it beautifully perfect dewy) on my cheeks and a little on the tip of the nose for years now, just a small dab! That creates a natural healthy sunkissed dewy glow. Both available on Sephora. This also lasts a long time.
I am very happy with these two products, will not look at other products. |

I love a dewy complexion over matte finish. I'm lucky to have dry skin to wear liquid foundation to get that dewy, fresh glow. I wouldn't be able to if I had oilier skin, it'd be too dripping shiny !! I've worn matte foundations before, yes... the Nointies was the era of matte, matte foundation, matte dark lipstick, matte everthing... I looked one dimensional!! Matte flattens my features.
I don't even care to powder my nose, as if that could get any flatter. |

For the most part I wear mineral makeup, which frankly isn't as dewy as I'd like. But when I really want a lovely, dewy look, I use Chanel's Vitalumiere foundation. Really nice for dry, mature skin. |
