Hi, ladies.
I have the similar questions relative to Valmont to ask here, hope blackmamba won't mind:)
I'm age 28 now, my skin is combination to oily with quite obvious pore problems in T zone area, particularly the nose, I used to break out a lot on the nose . But at the same time, my skin is quite thin, I can see a little bit of red broken capillaries on my face. I don't see many fine lines on my face except for a very tiny bit under my eye area, can't really see it unless I get really close to the mirror. As i'm getting older, and get stress from work quite often , I'm thinking of adding some new nutrition to my daily skin care routine to boost my skin. As I know Valmont might be a bit too early to me, I just plan to use EL ANR+Valmont Nature Unwinding with a Night Cream. Is this a good combo for night care? I have already bought EL ANR,but haven't really decided on night cream yet. Any other recommendations on a night cream to go with my EL ANR? And I need a suggestion for a skin serum for day time too, there are just too many options, hydrating serum, balance serum, normalizing serum, pore tightening serum...etc etc...gosh...someone please help me lol
Sorry for so many questions, i'm a newbie in skin care
Thanks in advance! |

| I'm looking for items suited for ladies around the age of 25. These could be anything: face masks, moisturizers, hand cream...thanks! |

I'm not in any way a Valmont expert, but I've tried a few products in full sizes. Most of them are from the Nature line. I wouldn't say I'm a Valmont fan as there are some products that really didn't agree with my skin, but some I really liked (and still do) as well. Here are some of the products I can think of right now:
Nature Cleansing with a Gel, which is a really light, runny clear cleansing gel. I didn't find it to remove makeup or sunscreen (euro SS) very well, so I only used it in the morning. It's very gentle, non-drying and non-irritating. I really enjoyed using it a lot. It's definitely one of the better cleansers I've tried (and trust me, I've tried a lot as my skin is EXTREMELY sensitive to cleansers). I haven't repurchased it as I have other cleansers I still wanna try, but I'll probably repurchase it in the future unless I come across something I like just as much and isn't as expensive. As although it's a very nice cleanser, it isn't exceptional.
Nature Moisturizing with a Mask is the best moisturizing mask I've ever tried to date. I received a sample from a fellow EDSer. I loved it so much I ordered a full size before even finishing the sample. It's the great! It really moisturizes without being greasy and leaving behind any heavy film. The texture is so soft, just like a normal moisturizer almost. I had a really bad reaction to retinol leaving my skin dry parched, sensitized and blotchy a while ago. After using the mask as a leave-on nighttime treatment for a few days, my skin calmed down considerably and the blotches went away in just over a week. Normally, any irritated blotches I have will take weeks to go away, so Valmont Nature Moisturizing with a Mask is a little miracle to my skin. It may seem quite expensive for a basic moisturizing mask, but a jar will last a loooooooooooonnng time, and I can imagine it last easily a year of regular use for me. This is the ONLY Valmont products I've tried so far that I'll ALWAYS repurchase.
Nature Unwinding with a Night Cream is as the time states it's a night cream although I don't see why you can't use it during the day as well. I did and never had any problems. It's not heavy in texture and left my skin so velvety smooth and soft although I would have to admit that I didn't find it as moisturizing as other products from the Nature line. However, I think it may still a little too rich for people with oily skin. It's a good product, but again I didn't find it exceptional and unique. I haven't repurchased and probably won't either.
Cellular Hand Cream is the best hand cream I've tried although I'm not sure if it's really the most moisturizing one. I find it moisturizing enough for my dry (though not chapped) hands without leaving them greasy. It sinks in quickly and it lasts through washes which makes it not as expensive as other hand creams in the end as I don't have to reapply as often. I bought a bottle of it about 2-3 months ago and have only just ordered another bottle as I don't wanna run out of it. It's a very luxurious product considering it's only a hand cream, but to me, it's the worth the high price tag. As long as I can still afford it, I won't use any other hand creams.
Renewing Pack is probably the most popular product from Valmont among EDSers. I purchased it without even trying a sample of it and I'm sorry to say I was quite underwhelmed when I finally got to try it. While it's a pretty nice mask, I've never noticed any glow from using no matter how often I use it or how much I apply. I don't find it moisturizing or cleansing, but then again, I don't think that's what it's designed to do. It's more of an pick-me-up mask....good to use before a night out or a date, I would say. I like it, but not enough to wanna pay another $200 for it. I get more "glow" from using Eminence Organics Carrot Vitamin Masque or Osea Red Algae Mask.
Regenerating Radiance Cream + Infinite Radiance Essence were the two products that didn't agree with my skin. Now, don't let my experience put you off. Keep in mind some products might not work for others, but may work wonders for you. I'm not sure what it was in the products that irritated my skin, but they left my skin with red bumps and I looked really flushed after I applied them to my skin. I noticed my skin reddened after applying the essence, but really flushed after applying the cream. Also, I got these little red (bloodshot red) bumps that were also painful, but they definitely weren't pimples. I know bushy gets excellent results from using these 2 products (hence I bought them in the first place) and some other EDSers really love them as well. I'm probably one of the few people that didn't have such luck.
I've tried a few other products, but only samples, so I don't think I can really comment on them. Overall, I'd say Valmont is a really good skincare line with a lot of great products, but just like any skincare line, not all of their products are equally great. They're definitely worth trying if you can afford them.
P.S. I have dehydrated skin and was talking to Kate on Live Help the other day asking for product recommendation. She recommended Regenetic Hydration Cream to me, so I guess that's another product that's suitable for younger skin. |

I haven't tried the Regenetic Hydration Cream yet although it's next on my "to order" list. It's just that I've already placed 2 orders with in the past 2 weeks and don't wanna place another one just yet, or they're gonna think I'm crazy! The hand cream is lovely. I love it although I wish it wasn't fragranced. |

I have to agree that the Valmont Hand Cream is the best I have ever used and I also love the Hands Treatment. I have tried a number of other hand creams since I tried the Valmont ones but nothing comes close.
Most of the products listed under Essential Care would be suitable for younger skins as well as AWF Factor I and DNA Repair.
To keep the routine simple, I would suggest a serum in the morning followed by a sunscreen and a cream at night. You could also use the same serum at night followed by the cream.
If you purchase one or two f the products, you could then ask for samples of some of the others that may interest you.
I have had oily skin but have never had any reactions or breakouts from Valmont products but I also have not used those products which state they are for dry skin.
I tend to recommend starting with the Radiance serum and cream as I found a noticeable improvement in skin tone with the use of these products. |

I too plan on buying the valmont renewing pack in the next day or so. I think I'll add on the hand cream as well and get the free gift!! lol! I received a sample of this in my last eds order and just tried it out a couple nights ago. While I prefer the Cellcosmet anti-stress mask for long term results, I think the renewing pack will make a great pick me up for the odd occasion when I need the extra boost!! I was very pleased with the immediate results! |

| Hi blackmamba, I think you can probably try the new line Valmont launched, namely Adaptation. The cream has a fresh and gel-cream texture, and is very easy to absorb. I think this is more suitable for oily / combination and easy to breakout skin than the Nature by Valmont line. |

The Valmont line is noncomedogenic. And I have never had any breakouts while using Valmont products. |

Don't get me wrong. I find it a very potent mask! I don't know if I look fresher after using it, but I know I definitely feel fresher. If I got $200 spare, I would definitely repurchase it. But since I don't, I'd rather buy something else with the $200 I have to fork out for. |

It's fantastic to see lots of good comments on Vermont. I guess I'll just stick with this brand from now on. |

| Indeed, I have to say Vermont really works on calming down my sensitive skin. 2 days ago, I tried a new product called "Skin Effects" which made my face very sensitive, red & some breakouts. But after I applied the renew pack and had the regenerating cream putting on for the whole night, the red was gone and the outcome was awesome. I love this brand! |

Valmont is really a good skin care brand. I have been continuously using Valmont products since 2002. Even if I try products of other skin care lines, I always think Valmont is the best & then I will use them back.
Among all Valmont products, my favourite is Elixir Face Cream & Regenerating Eye Mask Treatment. |
