I was going to buy the Lightstim from UK for £185 from amazon...but decided to buy it from EDS and hoped that the customs would not pick up my parcel and charge me a custom charge plus handling.

Waited for my parcel...which came with no customs charge - therefore i got the lightstim for only £77 (this was with my eds 15% discount) - this being a massive saving of over £100.

Boy was i pleased with myself......... THANK YOU EDS

Now i can spend more on skin care.......oh and i also bought PSF HA serums @2.

Now i can enjoy the benefits of my Lightstim.

Often, even if you are unlucky enough to get picked up by Customs, the prices are still cheaper from EDS than in the UK.

I love this site!

My parcels from eds have been caught by customs @3 and each time i think i paid £40+ because they charge a handling fee of over £20 and that is just for opening the parcel.............

I am very happy with my purchase..........

Blimey, that's unlucky! I've also had around 3 parcels caught by Customs, but the Post Office handling fee has only been a few pounds.

Does yours come by a different courier than the normal Post Office?

I really think they must be overcharging you, Kay. I know that ParcelForce charges are a rip-off, but the Royal Mail ones are usually much more reasonable. I'm certain you shouldn't be paying that much.

Have you tried contacting them about it?

Just had a thought, Kay. Was the £20 just the handling charge, or does that include Customs and VAT, too?

£20 would probably be about right for the entire total, but certainly not for the Royal Mail handling fee.

£20 was specifically the handling charge......because when i saw this......i thought to myself....'what a cheek to charge all this for just opening the parcel'........all i can say is that maybe they choose their charges........and then add on the right VAT

regards

Has EDS stopped selling LightStim? I've looked in their store and can't find it (or am I being dim?).

Also, for UK users of LightStim, does the tool "lose" any of its power because of the different voltage?

Found the answer in another search ... EDS no longer selling Sad

But would still be grateful if any UK users could advise if LightStim works to its full power once it is put through a voltage converter. Thanks!

I'm in Australia which has the same voltage as UK. My Lightstim came with a plug that has a universal adaptor and works fine. You don't need one of the large step up/step down voltage converters.
