Hi there - Copper peptides are were not formulated with the intention to resolve break-out prone skin, but if you have scar formation from acne, that's another story! Here is an excerpt from the Skinbio website that will shed a bit more light on the subject, and offer product suggestions that might be worth trying.

What products are recommended for Acne?
Skin Remodeling Copper-Peptides, originally designed for skin remodeling with the background of wound healing, have been shown to be effective for reducing the appearance of acne scars. However, these products do not serve as a treatment for acne. A dermatologist should be consulted if you have questions regarding how to cope with cystic acne or other severe acne problems.
But the combination of hydroxy acids along with strong Copper-Peptides have produced surprising results in effectively removing the appearance of various scars and blemishes. Where acne breakouts are still occuring, TriReduction Basic Protect and Restore Cream may be used. Along with Exfol Cream or Serum (to help exfoliate, or remove, damaged skin proteins), CP Serum can be used. And, with time, our most powerful products: SuperCop or Super CP Serum. |

How can I improve the appearance of my pores?
For Many of our clientele have commented that the products have helped in producing smoother skin and an overall reduction in the appearance of pores. CP Serum and Exfol Serum may be used to possibly produce this effect. But what may work for one person, may not necessarily work for all.
Copper-Peptides may attach to fats in the pores and if you notice a slight tint from the products you can wash off the color effect with warm water. But make sure to leave the product on and only wash off after they've had time to work.
The first stage of scar reduction and skin remodeling may leave the pores temporarily looking enlarged. This should pass.
Routinely visiting a steam bath or sauna may help reduce the appearance of pores while the skin's natural process is helped to repair and remodel itself. |

This is interesting. I've read the reviews on MUA and it seems quite a few people break out from CP's which makes me a bit worried as I'm planning to get my boyfriend to start using Super GHK and he's breakout prone. I know he definitely won't be impressed if he starts breaking out with big cysts all over his face after following my advice to use CP...especially after I've been telling him how great it's supposed to be. Anyway, I know CP is supposed to be great for acne scar reduction though. |
