Hi everyone,
There was a thread a while back for long lasting lipsticks and a few people recommended maybelline 16 hrs. I couldn't find a shade I really liked but also it looked very dry on me. (I lick my lips a lot...) Does anyone have another recommendation? I really liked the Max Factors but can't find them anymore.
TIA

I swaer by Lancome's Juicy Rouge. It's amazing--- a moisturizing, almost glossy lipstick that tenaciously hangs onto lips for hours! Unfortunately it's a last-call item at Lancome, so get it while you can. I love caramel--- it's a lovely, wearable nude.

I found maybelline too drying as well- have you tried the new one from loreal- infallible? I dont know if the spelling is correct. I might try that one.
I use benetint on my lips- makes a nice stain and then I usually layer a lipstick on top. Even though the lipstick will come off- the tint stays put and gives my lips a natural flushed look. I also like NARS lip stain in Sayonara- Reese Witherspoon wears it quite a bit too! It is a universally flattering shade-it looks great on Reese (fair blonde) and it looks great on me as well (dark skinned brunette). You can layer a gloss or lipstick on top of it as well.

Thanks CG,
That's a nice recommendation for Sayonara as I'm dark-skinned too. I usually find that NARS is pretty universal.

Clinique Long Last lipsticks are nice and not too dry. There's a new BE lisptick, not sure what it's called, 100% Natural lipstick or something. I received one in a QVC Special Value. It's lasts all day. it's a little dry, so I apply a non greasy lip blam (DHC lip care stick) underneath and it doesn't effect its lasting power. There's lots of pretty colors to choose from as well. |

My favourite is Guerlain's Kiss Kiss Lipstick. It's very long lasting and yet very moisturising. I don't even have to reapply after lunch. |
