Its TCA Complex from Julie and i was surprised. I did a patch test on my lower jaw and it frosted in like 20 seconds. I did this yesterday. Today it is a very dark spot. It looks like something burned me bad. I cant imagine doing this to my whole face
So anyone have advice for a first timer?
I have done ALOT of research on it on these boards and many others so im not a newbie to the information just to the procedure lol |

I have used 15 % and didnt frost...started with my forehead and worked along the edges downwards so left the more sensitive ares till last and I guess cheeks only about 30 seconds or so and didnt frost. I know you are not supposed to leave it on if it does but I have read that some women actually want it to frost as they get a deeper peel...now I dont know...BUT can say if you have a week to recover from the peel then you will want to make it worth while...I have found myself being very skittish and wishing I had actually left it on longer.....
If you are worried keep that bicarb solution with a big swab ready to dab any area that is frosting.... |

it depends on your skin. you are apparently one of the more sensitive types. if you don't want the peel to go that deep, dilute it to 8% and then layer up to 5. Stop when it frosts though. You don't *need* it to frost, but you will get the best peeling that way.
I personally don't like my face to turn super dark brown. i allow for some light frosting and I'm done. the face turns a little brown, but not enough to keep me from leaving the house. |

yea my test spot is soooooo brown...and im african american with light skin so it looks really bad. Im surprised i have sensative skin becasue i have used PSF pumpkin mask, 10% mandelic, Alpha hydoxy souffle, juice beauty green apple peel full strengh.
It is the fourth day (but its only been about 3 FULL days) and it hasnt peeled. I left it on and didnt wash it off because the instructions said it would neutralize itself. I have to see how my skin looks when it finally peels to see if its worth it. If its not, i might just do the TCA Latte or dilute the complex like you advised. |

when it frosts like that, you should wash it off right away. you don't want it to penetrate the skin more than it needs to even though it does neutralize itself after about 5 minutes. |
