I just started using Environ- I have the pre-cleanser, toner & moisturiser. seems as though the toner is a little drying - anyone else try these products?? |

Do you still use this cosmetic? Could you describe the result? Thank you! |

I actually stopped using the moisturiser (gave it to my mother who is loving it) - it really irritated my skin (red blotches & bumps) I am still using the precleanser sparingly. it is very moisturising but heavy - love it to remove eye make-up. I stopped using the toner. Have changed to Philosophy and am having great results!! |

Thank you for the reply! I asked about this cosmetic line because I read some interesting articles recently. They were written by Environ's founder Dr Des and loved his ideas about treating skin (they just answer my experience )
So, do you love Philosophy more?
Which Philosophy product do you use? |

sorry for the delay in responding! I do love Philosophy more. My skin is very sensitive and although the Environ didn't bother me when I had a facial using it daily did bother me. Philosophy seems to agree with me - using the Purity cleanser, hope is not enough serum and the Hope in a jar for sensitive skin. I've been using it since mid December and all is well!! I also use my Clarisonic in the AM - love it!! |

HI,
I worked in a spa that carried Environ as their main exclusive products (along with Valmont). I have to admit, that when you look at the ingredients and price attached there are far more effective products on the market that will give the same or better effects. I think some of their professional strength products are VERY effective, yet at a price of $300 for a 30ml bottle.
Is Clinical has NEVER let me down, especially if I exfoliate, etc.
Being an esthetician, and holistic practitioner I have tried MANY very strong cosmeceutical product lines. Environ was not very impressive!! I encourage you to do some research on what is in their products verses other companies products. |

I think the owner of that company is the one that promotes the dermaroller use on the skin. |

Yes, as I know, he invented this method ("needling"?). As well as using vit A derivatives (retin-a in particular) topically |

Could you recommend cosmeceutical lines that impressed you the most? Thank you!
As for Environ, I think that they (Dr Des) promote more gentle approach in skin care. That's why they even don't recommend to use AHA products widely.. especially glycolic acid. |

I think Dr Ferdnand was involved in a huge lawsuit with another dr who tried to copy his cit-roller. |

Yes, I saw some documents that were published in the Internet.
The inventor of Dermaroller(?) insists that he invented this device.
I think that he could invent this device (after Dr Des ask him to develop his own device) but the whole idea about the best penetration of active ingredients in cosmetic products after skin needling still belongs to Dr Des, not to him.
Anyway, not a good story |

Hi Feliz,
I have to ask - which line would you recommend?
Thx, R. |
