I do not know how old you are but I would recommend this essential balm but not too much on chin and forehead

I love the Essential Balm, but I find it can be drying if I use it every night, so I normally use it every 2-3 nights. As it's meant to help regulate and decongest, I'll sometimes use it only on my problem areas, like my T-zone.

I have sensitive skin on the drier side and find it quite soothing. I've used it when my skin was freaking out and found that by the next morning it had calmed it down.

Decleor Balms are meant to be used on a rotational basis, 2 weeks on, then 2 weeks off, then 2 weeks on, then 2 weeks off.....

If you use them continuously without a break, they can be too drying for the skin (which, in turn, can kick your sebum glands into overdrive to produce more oil to compensate for the stripped feeling of your skin).

And the balms are different from the oils, in that the balms are waxed-based products (which is partly why they can be so drying).

It's skin that's clogged (blackheads, whiteheads, etc...).

If you're looking to purify, then yes, you can use the Essential Balm on your sensitive skin; however, if you're looking for something to soothe your sensitive skin, your best bet is the Rose D'Orient. I've never reacted to the Essential Balm, but like I said, I use it only a couple of times a week, as it is drying.

Hi,
I think Decleor first started their balm with the 'essential balm' for all skins and then started specialising it for different skin types. So, I would think the essential balm would suit you fine.

I use the balm every night. This is the first I have heard about 2 week cycle. They ask the eye serum to be used in 4week cycle every 3 months but not anything about the essential balm.

I use just a pea size drop for my entire face and neck area. I would say my skin is between normal to combination.
