Hi everyone,
does anyone know of any foundations that are free from talc and mica? I have tried to google my request and nothing much comes up. I would appreciate even suggestions for natural brands to check out.
I am also looking for a mica-free mascara.
Thank you xxx |

I also have sensitive skin and I'm currently looking into mineral makeup that is "pure". Bad ingredients for me are bismuth and carmine, talc and mica. These mineral makeup co. do not contain those ingredients:
J. Lynne Cosmetics
Monave
Lilly Lolo
Everyday Minerals
I uses to use Bare Minerals and it made my skin very itchy.
Here is a site that will help:

Hi Laurabeth,
thank you for the reply and the website. I am glad to see that I am not the only one with super sensitive skin. I am not convinced that mineral makeup is the right choice for me, and all the brands mentioned on that website contain mica... I am pretty sure that this shimmer ingredient makes my skin itch. |

I think Cory is supposed to be mica free. |

I was just looking into this same thing (no mica/talc). I found Corey's and Fyrinnae. |

I went into the department stores today and just had a look at ingredient lists. I finally found a Darphin foundation which is free from these two ingredients. I can't wait to try it! |

Thank you so much for the recommendation. I went out and bought this and I have just tried it. I am so happy with it! It did not irritate my eyes at all and normally I can feel the heaviness of the mascara, but this one is just so light in texture. It also gives a beautiful, natural result. |
